The Black Ship

aka Proclaim Release to Captives, before I changed the name.  This is clearly a ship of death, a dreadful thing. But there is light in the darkness...

Before rendering this random batch fractal, I changed the gradient to one called "Sunny Harvest" and adjusted the color just enough to make it more vivid and clear.  If you look closely you will observe that there are numerous dark faces stuck on the central cross which is like a mast to a ship sailing towards you through a tempest past dangerous shoals.  The ethereal flames surrounding it are in the shape of a Sacred Heart.  There also appear to be wings depending from the top of the cross or mast, two pair in fact, and the lighter shape of a bird's body can also be discerned from further back.  On Feb. 26th I adjusted the brightness, contrast and color, and the mast top now clearly shows a helmeted skull with dark wings.   Death comes for everyone, and men tremble in useless dread of the day they cease to live on this earth, but the Truth, which will set you free, is Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life--the Resurrection through whom we, if we accept Him as our Savior, will live again, and need never fear death, but rejoice in returning to our heavenly home.
