Don't Need Transporters

To use a transporter in the world of Star Trek, it is supposed that the matter or being transported is fully material, and it helps if relative speeds are within design specs. But what would happen if a being were pure energy?  If it chose to submit to being transported, Enterprise-style, it would have to materialize so said material could be deciphered, encoded, and transmitted--or as "Bones" would say, scrambled, then reassembled.   What would happen if it were in the process of materializing, while the "energize" button was hit too soon?

But, praise be that our God who works wonders through the agency of His angels as well as the Holy Spirit, has not let his heavenly host be dependent on mere human technology, even the most advanced science fiction or science-tomorrow variety.  Angels do not require transporters, to arrive where they are sent in response to our prayers and our faith and desire to help those in need.  They say, and it is a silly thing, not to fly faster than your guardian angel can fly, but we are imposing a physical metaphor on something not limited by physical laws, because they are, as I said before, beings of spirit, of energy, and we cannot imagine what a war in the heavens would look like, or how even such beings can be harmed.  Do we not all, humans, and angels, owe our constant being to our Creator?  Is He not, in fact, able to "remember" us back into life by His very word and thought, so we are never irretrievable, never scrambled and thus destroyed, and however far we stray or hide, always within His reach and sight.

With profound appreciation for the whole heavenly host of helpers, and for our loving Father who is so far beyond our understanding, and most thankfully, ever good,
Debra
