Exodus Ammonite by rhunel Exodus Ammonite by rhunel
Apophysis 7.  Random-batch generated, original gradient, no transforms.  Tweaked in Fx to improve shape, transparency, and most of all, to give greater definition to the heads on the top half of the shell, and visibility to the fossil shape within the spirit-feathers.  The second-lowest and the topmost two, pre-render, looked very much like Hebrews, so I was going to call it Ammonite Gen4727 because they could have been Joseph and Isaac, with Abraham, but unfortunately, the depth contrast couldn't come out any better, they mostly look like sheep and livestock, except for the second-lowest one which I'd have to call Moses now--you have to be looking from the right distance to see the human features.  The numbers I used to resolve the  color/brightness/contrast and tint/temperature/saturation, are all out of Exodus--10 for the Commandments, 40 for the years in the desert, 12 for the tribes of Israel, 4 for Moses, Aaron, Yahweh, and the Angel of God, and 5 for the number of books attributed to Moses.

Have a blessed week, thank you for your continued appreciation!
Debra

5-14-16 Adjusted color/brightness for best print appearance.

A similar fractal was created later from different random, but much simpler parameters, God's gift also that I was able to develop into this: The Delicacy Of Beginnings by rhunel

I'm glad you like it.  God deserves the credit for it, for although I have by now seen other fractal artists create shells, the fact that it has heads visible in it is what makes it a marvel to me!  Have a blessed day!

But it's not a drawing!  It is an image created through mathematics via the fractal program Apophysis.  I did not conceive the idea of this or achieve it through physical skill at all.  It is, like all of the fractals I've had the privilege of bringing forth, randomly generated.  With a little fine tuning via the "handles" on the equations and not even altering the "palette" of the gradient from the original. To God be All the glory.
